Bandar Universiti Pagoh or known as BUP planned to be world-class education hub that will act as a local catalyst to boost the development of southern region of Malaysia, specifically Pagoh – Muar region.
Main objectives are to create job opportunities for the local communities; enhance regional growth; provide amenities and facilities that will enhance the quality of life of locals; contribute towards regional sustainability and to create an eco friendly development
BUP is a development that will co-exist with the natural environment, to respect & minimize impact to the environment, enhances human capital, generate sustainable living, creating high added-value economic development and to create new emerging communities.
BUP is a township brimming with diverse learning experiences ranging from formal to non formal and informal learning through its components and programs. BUP is also envisioned to be well equipped educational and learning infrastructure to support a lifelong learning process for the nation.
The Result
First township in Malaysia with integrated higher education hub comprising four main public institutions in a large campus area equipped with shared facilities.
